Box15005FThe largest space in the building, covering approximately 1,500 square meters, will host exhibitions symbolizing the theme, offering new experiences that combine art, entertainment, crafts, etc. It may also be used as Venue for lectures and live performances.

Box1000B3F-B1FThis state-of-the-art theater space features LED lighting on the entire stage. Digitally produced live performances, installations, and other innovative experiences will be presented. Streaming and avatar-based Program will allow participants to participate from remote locations.

Box3002FThis experimental space offers a high degree of freedom as it can be integrated into the foyer by opening and closing the walls. Program will be developed through collaboration with companies, research institutions, and creators. In the evenings, Event such as DJ sets and public viewings will also be held.

Tatami4FA 100-tatami space where you can kick off your shoes and relax. Enjoy a unique experience that combines Japanese culture and technology.

Sun Lab / Land Lab / Sea Lab3FThe museum has three small exhibition spaces called "Labs," where casual visitors can drop in to enjoy exhibitions, Event, and workshops. They are named "Sun Lab," "Land Lab" and "Sea Lab" after the sun, earth, and sea that are the colors of MoN Takanawa's logo.

MoN LibraryB3F-B1FA huge bookshelf covering one wall displays books and merchandise related to current Program and artists. There is also an area where you can actually touch and enjoy the exhibits.
Public Space

Park Terrace1FThis open space is perfect for meeting up. It can also be used as a stage for parties, music concerts, fashion shows, and other Event. From the soon-to-be completed park directly in front of the building, you can overlook the remains of the Takanawa Embankment, which was built to allow Japan's first railway to run over the sea.

Entrance Lobby2FThe open lobby, which overlooks the entire building, is the gateway to this facility and is directly connected to the station by a deck.

Train Terrace3FThis terrace overlooks the trains passing by and the "Rolling Stock Depot" where various carriages are parked. Take your time and think about Narratives of trains heading to distant cities and trains heading home.

Tsukimi Terrace6FThis terrace space is designed to reflect the moon. Seasonal Event such as cherry blossom viewing and moon viewing are also held here. You can enjoy the changing appearance of the moon with the seasons and time, while superimposing it on the coastal scenery that existed in this area during the Edo period.

Ashiyu Terrace6FAshiyu Terrace, located in one corner of the building, is a place where you can relax and enjoy healing and socializing. In this semi-outdoor space surrounded by plants and trees, you can spend some time soaking your feet in the warm water while feeling the changing seasons.

MoN ShrineRFThis is a place where the gods who protect Takanawa Gateway City are enshrined. Branch shrines have been given to the local Takanawa Shrine and Mita Hachiman Shrine, and the gods of both shrines are enshrined here.

MoN FarmRFThe rooftop garden is rich in nature and is home to seasonal flowers, plants, fruit trees, and a vegetable garden where vegetables and herbs are grown. Many of the trees that adorn the building are native Japanese species, and each one has Narratives.

Hanami TerraceRFThis rooftop cherry blossom viewing spot allows you to enjoy the changing appearance of flowers with the seasons. In spring, seven types of cherry blossoms bloom at different times, decorating the terrace in turn.
